My LO has just turned 14 months. Walks well using a push walker and when holding my hands for a short wile, also pulls self up and cruises well but will not let go. Any time DD thinks she's going to need to balance she immediately sits down.

So I was wondering when others started?

My little one is also 14 months and is at exactly the same stage. My first child didn't walk until 18 months. It sounds like your little one is nearly there and theres absolutely nothing to worry about. I don't think my first child was even pulling up at 14 months but no one was at all worried as she could crawl, weight bear and wasn't significantly behind in any other areas.

I'd lose the walker. They have to lean to use them, gives them a false sense of balance and no motivation to do without it!

@TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis Thanks. I've seen this advice in other places too so I've moved it out of the room.

Mine walked at 15 months. You don't need to worry yet for sure.

Mine was early, cruising at 8 months and walking independently at 10 months. Though you don't need to worry until 18 months I think the guidance is
