there is nothing wrong with dentinox and ive used it with all of my kids.infacol is good too and gripe water if your child is old enough to have it (3months) i think it is,although i will say that it can be a bit messy.
your health visitor obviously has never had a child with colic or she wouldnt of turned her nose up!!!!!!!!!!!

that was my thought, the dentinox has been good as it can go directly in the bottle although i am abit concerned as it contains e numbers but then my little one wont be on it forever, do u think it matters? i am not sure whether is sugar free either

They are great. Much easier and less mess than Gripe water and Infacol used to drive me mad as you have to wait for 5 minutes after giving it before you feed. Doesn't sound like long but when you have a hungry screamy baby, it feels like an hour! Give the Dentinox a try. I really don't understand why your HV would disapprove. Some of them have strange ideas and think that colic/wind is just something the baby will grow out of. It's not that easy when you live with them and they are so unsettled. I found the dentinox the easiest and most effective colic aid. I think it does have sugar in it though but it's obviously safe and it brought up a lot more wind than infacol. Gripe water was OK but used to make ds sick a bit as it brought the wind up a bit too forcefully!

My HV advised me to use Deninox!
