Windy baby - do they grow out of it?

My LO is 8 weeks and windy after a feed. Always burps and is a little sick. He also wriths around in his sleep, very uncomfortable, and loud, which keeps us up!

I am giving him infacol.

Do they just grow out of wind? And is there any specific age? Any experinces appreciated!

Thanks

mine all were windy - and grew out of it - can't remember how old they were - but certainly by 6 months they were well past it.

My ds is very windy, with the same symptoms as your lo. Infacol had helped a little but I've found Colief to be great. It certainly reduces the amount of pain he's in and helps him settle to sleep, which was almost impossible before.

my dd is very windy and was taking 2 droppers of infacol up until 20 weeks.

i realised I had forgotten to give her it before a number of feeds so i stopped giving her it. she is now fine - still windy but able to sort them out herself without much intervention other than making sure she is upright. For some reason she can't burp laid down .

I would say I saw a real improvement from about 16 weeks - she now seems a completely different baby much happier and settled in fact quite a delight to be with.
