Is it a meal or a snack? Does she finish it all off or leave some, or ask for more food afterwards?
Its hard to have standard portion sizes really as everyone (including toddlers) have different appetites.
If she’s eating it all and not asking for more then I’d say it’s a good size. If she is hungry soon after eating this then you could try giving her a bigger portion. If she doesn’t finish it then maybe it’s too big of a portion for her.
Also, there are some days where my 18 month old will be constantly hungry, so he basically just snacks / grazes throughout the day. Other times he seems to eat more at dinner than me or his dad!

Gosh I never thought it could be seen a snack 😆😆 I definitely have some problems with my DD . That was her lunch today and she barely touched it . She doesn’t want to self feed or use her hands and I am getting concerned she might have a problem . She loves messy play and touch fruits and melty cheese no problem but I am really really struggling with meal times

I would say that looks pretty close to the recommendations for her age, but the variation in toddler appetites is huge, both between toddlers and the same toddler day to day. Unless she is dropping centiles on the grow chart or seems tired, not well in herself, she's probably getting enough.

On the other hand, you would normally expect her to be feeding herself finger foods and making some (messy) progress with a spoon at this age. How much would she eat if you fed her? Are there any foods she will self-feed?

Thank you so much for your answer so sorry for the long post but I don’t know what to think . have an 18 months old who can say 75 words , can do pointing , waved and claps , does a lot of pretend play , has always brought us toys / books etc , follow commands , always answer to her name and stops when she misbehaves. She is also a good sleeper ( can put herself to sleep after the bottle ) and very affectionate, a bit wilful though . She imitates everything . She has good joint attention and always look where I am pointing if not tired . She always holds my hand outside and we are in that “phase “ of stranger - danger. But food has always been an issue since she was 15 M . She can feed herself slimy fruits like strawberries , kiwi and peaches fish cake and wolfed is down but won’t touch pasta , or roasted veggies but she loves feeding herself raw veggies like carrots cucumber etc . She doesn’t self feed and I know it is a sign but my GP and HV said because she can clearly communicate what she wants and follow instructions they can’t refer me to OT so my only option would be going private . Does this sound like good aversions?
