Technology and time limits.

My 10 year old has a PlayStation that was given to him by a family member. I wouldn't have bought one as I can't afford it! But he can be fine with time limits, but I've noticed that he is a lot more 'back chatty' and defiant with it lately. (I don't want to make excuses but he does like the connection part of it where he can play and talk with class mates as he's the only boy in the home) he is very active with hobbies and also active with his sisters outside too. I'm very big on outside time.

But Fortnite seems to be very addictive.

He said to me from before technology that when he gets angry outbursts he doesn't know how to stop (I try to show him ways to cope with outbursts).
He doesn't stop when asked, then shifts blame to me for saying he has to go without it the next day. I've said when it becomes a problem, it goes away.

I'm his mum first, not a friend. But I am worried this will 'drive him' to his dad's house as it's unlimited there.

Any tips on this?
