Forget expensive baby toys, for the last ten minutes 10 week old DS has been grinning like a mad loon at my glass of squash!

oh dd isn't fussy but gets excited when alphabeat comes on. she loves the computer screen too.

my 28 week old has a paper fetish (plastic one too but that is banned!) he loves nothing more than rolling around on the floor with a new piece of broadsheet. not sure how nutritious it is as i don't think its all their (in gooey piles) when I go to clean it up. i think its worth it for 30mins of p&q.

he does seem to be such an intelectual little fellow when he studies all the pages!

My 20W DS has a thing for mugs- loud squeals are heard whenever we are drinking tea (i.e. a lot)and he waves his little arms about to be given the empty mug to play with. We've got him a Peter Rabbit one now so he can join in - luckily he hasn't yet twigged that we get tea in ours
Patterned curtains are also a source of great delight and surprise.

and the ceiling, that's really interesting!
