No build up
Nothing sets him off
It literally comes out of nowhere
He won't respond to asking him why he is saying/doing whatever it is he is saying/doing

DS1 is 7.

It really is literally like someone flips a switch and the lovely little boy we had around turns in to a boy who is rude, says mean and hurtful things and cheeks us in a way I would never dare now.

Makes me feel so

is he tired?

Testosterone surge?

diet?

tiredness?

I suggest he goes straight to his room whenever it happens.

He is testing the boundaries - make sure they are firmly in place, and consistant.

He has stayed up 45 minutes later than normal but isn't over tired.

He has had some chocolate Thornton's Easter Egg after tea as a treat. My friend sent all the children one.

Testosterone worries me as we can't do anything about that.

He told me to go out of his room, wouldn't apologise, said he wasn't listening and said my baking was the worst in the world and full of poison. I know he is just saying that for a reaction as I was the bst mummy in the universe earlier on.

It is just so worrying for want of a better word when he changes so instantly and without any way of stopping him.

Is chocolate a possible reason?

I can hear him walking about in his room but we will leave him. If we go up he will wake the younger ones up.
