Moving Milk Time?

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or under bottle/breast but here goes...

DD (15 months) takes ages over her bedtime milk and was considering moving it to before bathtime. She has a full meal at 5.30pm teatime then we watch Storymakers and an edited down ITNG so go up for bath by about 6.40pm. Bathtime which she adores takes us to 7pm in PJs and grobag ready for milk (9oz from a bottle)on a chair in her room. She has always suffered reflux so before we discovered Gaviscon would have to have it bit by bit. Now she has a bit then story then some more then bed. This was ok when half and half but is so obsessed by books that can hardly get a floz down before she is pushing it away pointing at the books. This means that by the time we have story and bit more milk, she has barely had half but is ready to lie down for bed and lights off. Then the problem starts as she keeps trying to get to sleep but then sitting up asking for a bit more over and over until all or nearly all has gone when she settles and drops off happily. Was considering starting bottle during ITNG (so 6.20pm) as might do half then and still have some to finish off after bath at storytime.

Sound like a plan?

It does sound like a plan.

Could you just give her less milk so that it's finished quicker?

If that was the case, she would go to sleep when she lies down and has lights off which is often only about half way down. She tries to get comfy and settle down to sleep but realises she is actually still hungry and starts asking for more. I think she still needs a whole bottle to see her through the night as she will not drop off until milk nearly all gone. I also dont want her to wake up in the night hungry - I have got used to her sleeping through.
