Baby unusually calm after bottle feeding

Hi,
I have a 5 week old baby and I am usually breastfeeding regularly, around 7-9 times a day, but I am planning to introduce one pumping session a day to accumulate some supply for emergencies.
Yesterday we decided to try to give him a bottle to see if he will take it. He drank 120 ml in one go without any issues. What surprised us however was that he was extremely calm after the feeding for quite some time until he eventually fell asleep on his own, which has never happened before!!! Usually, he is calm for around 10 minutes and then he gets fussy and starts crying. He also always falls asleep in our arms and then we transfer him to the crib. So his behaviour after the bottle was very unusual.
My question is could it be that he gets tired breastfeeding and he falls asleep or pulls off the breast before he is completely full so he is still hungry then and that's why he becomes fussy shortly after?
I would like to continue breastfeeding but if this is the case, I am also considering exclusively pumping and feeding him with a bottle.
So far he is gaining weight well, he was born 3395 and in week 5 he is now 4270 g. He poops and pees well.
Usually, I give both breasts when breastfeeding except for night feedings as he often falls asleep and I put him back in the crib. During the day, he also falls asleep often or pulls off the breast but I try to put him back on it until it's been at least 15 minutes on each breast, as I am not sure if he is full.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance!

Formula is a bit like having a big Sunday Dinner. It makes them usually full and sleepy.

Human babies are designed to be more alert which is why he's not usually like this.

To be honest I'd be more worried about him sleeping too deeply.
