DD is my first, at 20 months my mum got her those Ravensburger peppa pig puzzles for Christmas that are for 3+ up, it was an accident she didn't realise the age range but within a couple of months she was able to do all 4 puzzles alone, so we started buying her others Gruffalo, Bluey, Paw Patrol etc etc

After she turned 2 she was doing like 8 puzzles at once and I thought these are getting a bit too easy perhaps? So I bought some for 5yos that were 49 pieces. And in the last month she's been able to do these ones alone.

I opened a new box for her today and she did it entirely alone whilst I was in the kitchen busy.

What does this tell me about her development? Are there any other toys or things I should try to introduce her to?

Don't know who else to ask and I don't want to mention it to other mums IRL because they would think I was bragging (which tbf I am I bit, but I'd brag about anything to do with her because she's amazing)

That's so cool!

It sounds like she's got a real talent for visual problem solving and spatial awareness in 2 dimensions - do you think she'd like 3 dimensional challenges? Construction kits, Meccano, Lego? That sort of thing?

This is a great suggestion, we don't have anything like this. Thank you

Yes, duplo or blocks are a good shout. She might like cards that show a lego/block pattern and she tries to recreate it in real life. Or a set of pattern blocks like https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/melissa-doug-pattern-blocks-and-boards/6630721000.html(no idea about that specific set). She might enjoy the patterns and symmetry even if it's not hard for her to recreate them.

If that's too easy, you can get tangram sets like https://www.funlearning.co.uk/toys/janod-wooden-tangram-game/ where the picture is all black, so it's harder to work out which piece to put where. A classic memory game where you try to find matching tiles might appeal to her visual skills – Shopping List is a very popular one. https://www.jumbo.eu/en/products/logic-city/ is a sort of 3D puzzle game she might like, or they have a couple of other similar games.
