I'm after one of these for parents to give to ds for Xmas - I'm sure someone posted a nice Mothercare one on an earlier thread? Which of course I now can't find.

It has a padded seat & baby has a sort of bench of activities - think you can also get ones that twirl thro' 360 degrees...does anyone know what I'm talking about? Confusing meself now! Wink

think they are made by little tikes...
could be totally wrong though..
I do know though that the mothercare walker ones can be made into standing still ones

I'm looking at these too and can't decide whether to get one or not for ds2 (7 mths) - he absolutely ADORES the one at playgroup but can't decide how long they would be enjoyed for.

Here's the links I found:

Wow, that was quick! The Mothercare on's the one I've seen - but I reckon the other is even better. Thanks all especially Georgina!

I still can't decide - I bookmarked the links a week ago and am still in a dilemma!!! Has anyone used one - do they last beyond when they're mobile?

tillykins · 10/12/2004 20:10

My little boy has the Graco one and he is 13 months and has been walking a while now. He still enjoys being in there and its really good for when I want to do the ironing or when we are eating. It opens out into a sort of desk too, when they are too big for the seat. He loves it and its got lots more on it than the others

found the graco one: \link{http://www.babycare-direct.co.uk/rockers_and_bouncers_-_2.html\Graco Funcentre}

(on that link scroll down - it's the one underneath)

Think the Safety First looks the most interesting, but the Mothercare the most comfortable... argh dilemma!

HosannainexsAilsa · 10/12/2004 20:34

DD2 loved playing in the one they have at her nursery. I think you can get away with one until ds's start climbing! (DD2 has been climbing for about 6 weeks or so now, she's a demon for climbing the stairs.

GeorginaAdventCalendar · 10/12/2004 20:45

You've swung me then, Ailsa. Have ordered one from Kiddicare!

Had some money left over from the Naming that his great grandmother gave him... so I can give him it as soon as it arrives rather than wait for Christmas so I can actually get some housework done Grin

ChristmasBOOZA · 10/12/2004 21:23

They're brilliant. I never had one for DS but a neighbour has lent me hers and DD goes in it everyday. We've been putting her in it for 2/3 months now and you can put other toys on the tray. We gave her bouncy chair away when she was 5 months because it had become superfluous. Only trouble is it is kept in the space we usually allocate to the Christmas tree.

Cinderellascarrieg · 12/12/2004 00:04

I've ordered the Kiddiecare one too - am actually getting quite excited waiting for it to arrive because it DOES look like loads of fun (how sad is that! Grin)
