DD (8 months) has an occasional shudder - should I be worried?

My 8 month DD shudders several times a day. I don't like it - worry it's some sort of nervous tic. DH thinks I'm being neurotic. Am I?

my DC used to that sort of thing after they had had a quiet minute - doing a wee!!
But remember, you know your baby best and if you are at all worried then get it checked out. Most GP's would much rather you went to get concerns checked sooner rather than later.
BTW I think being neurotic is at the top of "essentials" in the Job specification for the post of mum

was just gonna say after reading the title, is she weeing?
but others pipped me! still, another vote for peeing to reassure you!

My ds does this (may have stopped now at nearly 2) after a wee. It's hard to tell when they're weeing when they're in nappies though. I sussed it at the swimming pool

DD used to shudder when she was about to wee. She was easy to potty train as we could see the signs!

DS does it as well, he finds it hilarious when I imitate him

Another vote for weeing here! Don't worry (try not to, any way). As far as I know, all babies do this when they're weeing in their nappy. It feels cold against their skin, so they're literally shivering from cold.

She's having a wee. I bet that's what everyone else says too!
