6 y/o DD being left out at playtime

Hi, looking for some ideas to share with my 6 year old daughter. She's been quite upset that she's been alone at playtimes at school for the last few weeks after being 'dumped' by her friend. I know this might sound quite trivial but she seems quite affected by it and it's impacting her self esteem. There have been some cruel words said about her looks (her hair being too 'dark') and she's been physically pushed by them too.

Her teacher has been very supportive about it, and the playground supervisor is keeping an eye on her.

I've told her to seek the supervisor at playtime when she's feeling lonely or upset, but I'm also trying to encourage her to make new friends

My daughter can come across a bit socially awkward (she's on the waiting list for ADHD, not sure if this is related though), so I've been trying to give her tips on how to approach classmates. She's very scared they will reject her..

I've suggested maybe thinking of some games and asking classmates if they want to join in, I've suggested things I vaguely remember from that age, like holding hands and skipping around the playground, that sort of thing..?

I have awful memories of being bullied at school and I'm worried about projecting my insecurities from that onto her, and also struggling to think of other things to advise

Wondering if anyone has any ideas for what else I can suggest to her, feeling so sad for her at the moment...any advice appreciated..

Thats so sad. Girls can be horrible. My 5yo was abit like this in reception, she wanted to always be with her best friend from nursery but they were in different classes. She made loads of new friends and now they're back in the same class anyway. Just remind her she can play with anyone she wants to. Do they have a buddy bench? If so she could try that then hopefully someone will see her and come over. I hope the situation resolves itself in the next few days x
