Thank you for anyone taking the time to read. My little girl was 2 in April and its safe to say its been a bumpy ride. Theres been a lot of crap in our lives but this isnt what im detailing in this post. One main issue - absolutely shocking sleeper. Dont think shes slept through the night once. At the moment she wont sleep anywhere but next to me. Im exhausted and at my wits end. I love her but at the moment I dread my days off work. Shes only ever badly behaved for me, god knows what ive ever done wrong.
Someone has recommended phenergan for her hayfever. I am aware it makes people drowsy and can be used to aid sleep. Does anyone have any experience with this?? Does it actually help them sleep as well as help their allergies?? She is so grumpy and constantly crying because shes tired.
Please dont judge me. Any help or advice would be appreciated massively.

Speaking as someone whose DD1 didn't sleep through the night until she was 3, I completely feel your pain.

At 3, we shifted DD1 into her own bed and put a single mattress on the floor next to her which I slept on for six months. Prior to that I had been co-sleeping with her. From there we very gradually moved the mattress away from her bed - do you think something similar could work for you guys?

With regards to behaving badly just for you, it's because you are her safe place. It's a compliment although I bet it really doesn't feel like one!

Hi,

I don't have any advice, but didn't want to read and run.

My LO also doesn't sleep through the night and has frequent tantrums (which could because he's tired, who knows 🤷‍♀️).

It would be interesting to hear if anyone has and advice or suggestions.

Stay strong though mama. You're doing amazing, even if you're finding it tough 😘
