Olive's 3 year old will not do anything she is told (and I think MIL has had enough today), how do I sort her out? (dd2, not MIL)

refuses to go to the toilet before going out anywhere, so you have 15 mins of ranting

dressing, refuses to wear certain things, wants to go out in fairy costume

gets down off the table and plays with toys

and just general annoyance

MIl has told dh she was 'a handful' this morning so I think that translate as a PITA

how do I get her to do as she is told?

dd1 was a perfect example of compliance so I am at a loss

no, the mum changed her and sorted her out. As I would do for someone else's child, but would rather not!

oh sorry OO I thought you were there too. of course I'd have done the same.

I hope I didn't sound patronising or anything as really is the last thing I ever want to do re motherhood as it's the one thing I've got zero answers for and that drives me insane (have you seen my threads about DD refusing to go to bed?)

I maybe dare to say something bacause DD is quite an obedient child..like I said wait till april and I'll probably be screaming my head off.

I am stricter than you olive but my 3yo is like this. I have many times sent her to nursery having not done a wee since 7pm the previous day. My worst thing recently has bee getting her to come home from nursery which is as well as everything else.
