Im not sure if this is is a normal behavior of a 7mos old baby, ever since she could roll over and crawl, she just keeps moving, on her sleep, even if shes drinking milk from a bottle. is this normal? im a FTM.

There are other also red flags, but i dont want to fall into the rabbit hole.

  • not babbing, she does makes sounds but not the typical bababa mamama just squeels.
  • no imitation, im not sure if at this age she understands.
  • doesnt follow a point, sometimes she does but i thinks its more of the motion of my hand.
  • excessive mouthing, everything she puts it in the mouth. and i mean everything. is this even normal?
  • she spins toys, i was thi king it must be there for a reason, but she spins it close to her face

on the other hand

  • gross motor is ok, sit unassisted, crawl, cruise on furnitures.
  • picks up small objects or food
  • smiles most of the time specially with me. but to others she jist stares.
  • laugh when being tickled and when i make funny noises or sings.
  • reach up sometimes when needs help since she has difficult sitting when shes standing up.

im not sure if there is developmental delays, should i be worried.

She sounds great 😁 I remember the baby sensory class leader once saying You find babies are movers or talkers and one always comes first. 7 months is early for babbling and imitation. The squealing is them finding their voice, she'll next moved into exploring new sounds like dada. She's just exploring her senses too, you're seeing this in he mouthing of everything don't forget they dont know what should or shouldn't be mouthed. And the spinning, sounds like she's making her own light show.
Honestly, don't worry she sounds completely normal.
