Has anyone got any advice to help soothe a baby with colic, my little boy is 3 weeks old and every evening he screams none stop for hours, I've tried everything I can think of but was wondering if other parents who had gone through it had any advice

Horrendous isn't it. My DN is in his teens now and I can still tempera how awful it was.

What have you tried so far?

I've tried holding holding him, putting him down, swaddling him, white noise machine, colic drops, anti colic milk, anti colic bottles, bathing him literally everything I can think it, it is awful cuz I don't no what to do for him for the best

Sounds like you've tried lots of things. Is the crying mainly in the evening or is it constant or after feeds? Crying at different times can indicate different things Thanks

It's mainly in the evenings, from around 6pm until 9pm. He was a lot more settled last night I've changed his bottles and I'm trying him on dentinox so not sure if that made a difference x

My LO was exactly the same, it's like he knew when we served dinner because it always started then! We tried loads of different things but none made a real difference and he just sort of grew out of it by around 12 weeks (19 weeks now and goes down at 7.30 and sleeps until about 9am with a dream feed at 10 and 6.30. It will get better!!

Well that's reassuring to no that hopefully it won't last to long. It's just hard knowing what to do for them for the best and not being able to do anything to stop it x

It is really hard especially with your first because you have nothing to reference it too. Just have to try everything to see if it makes a difference and if not then unfortunately ride it out! :)
