So since around 1 dd has been put in her cot in her own room and has gone off to sleep with no problems.over Christmas dd was really poorly and ended up being in my bed with me due to how poorly she was. She was in my bed to for two nights and then went back to sleeping in her own cot. The past three days she’s been getting so upset to the point she’s making herself sick at being in her own bed. She is calm when put in her own bed and then about ten minutes later gets herself worked up and is sick from crying too much. All she tells me is sleep in mummy’s bed.
Dh says to let her in our bed ( he’s quite laid back) however I want to keep he in routine but the past two nights she’s had to fall asleep in my bed before moving her into her own room. Is this normal for around 23 month olds

I’d just go with it but then I’d probably a bit laid back as well. She’s only little still and if she’s not upset in your bed then that’s a win. In cultures like Japan it’s nirmal to hav3 them in bed with you till at least 4. I dint get our obsession with making babies sleep in a dark room by themselves.

If you do want her in her own bed, have you thought of sleeping with her sheets for a couple of nights so that when she's in her bed, it smells the same as yours?

Agree with bunny, I'd just roll with it - not worth the upset and vomitting in my opinion.

How are you getting on now @Alve20?
