Both Dd's go to brownies. Dd1 starts Guides after xmas.

Anyway they were told last Monday that this monday they were having a pirate party, god knows why, but anyhow.

I already had to organise their stuff for the sleepover they were having with Brownies Sat just gone so hadn't had time and couldn't afford to go and buy anything for them to wear.

So, have just emptied wardrobes and put Dd2 in long top, long denim shorts and tights and boots, with one of my belts round her middle and a plastic sword, oh and a eye patch. Oh and i cut up and old t'shirt to tie round her head. She was as pleased as punch.

Dd1 however is not impressed. I have put her in jogging bottoms tucked into boots and puffed out abit, a long top, scarf round head and another of my belts, oh and eye patch. She reckons she looks nothing like a pirate and has just shouted to me that she hates me, from the back of her friends mums car.

Charming.......next time i won't bloody bother.

To be fair she was quite upset, and did cry when she got in the car, but blooody hell it is a brownie party not a catwalk in milan.

Me thinks straight to bed when she gets in.
