Can never be sure but yes, they're consistent with teething and yes, it could certainly be starting at this age. Maybe try homeopathic teething granules? They seem to have a calming effect.

Some babies do get teeth this early. But my dd didn't get her first ones till 10 months yet still started dribbling at 3 months. I don't think it was just slow teeth - I think they dribble a lot at this age because it's another stage of development of their digestive and nervous system. I have never given teething granules although have given calpol a couple of times (dd is 20 months and getting teeth 7-12 all at once).

Hi all, My DD is 7 months and has just cut her first tooth.
I thought she started teething at 4 1/2 months as she chewed everything in sight including mummy's boobies. Hurrah for nipple shields, they kept me going till 6 months. Common signs are very rosy cheeks on side of tooth and a sore bum. My DD had both and then some.

Its common to get these "signs" of teething at 3 mths, but its anyones guess when the teeth will arrive. Some sprout straight away and others seem to take months.

I recommend bonjela if your baby seems to be in pain.

we founnd calgel works quite well as well.

apparently the teeth shift around in the jaw at 3months which is normally coincides with all the drooling and can be painful for them. We had this from 3months till 5.5months when first tooth emerged. We used bonjela, icecubes in a muslin cloth as well.
Good luck.

My ds is now 4 months and he has been showing signs of teething for the past few weeks as well. This week it seems to have become more painful for him, esp in the late afternoon and evening, so we have applied Calgel several times. It works like a treat and he is suddenly sleeping through the night too! This might be a coincidence of course.

Gs my ds twins both cut their first tooth within days of each other. Signs were; dribbling like a mad thing, chewing on their fist and ds twin2 also had quite pink cheeks.

Also their sleep changed. They both love their kip but, in particular ds twin2, they became quite restless and would cry out a few times a night.

My two were 7 months old at the time but my friends dd was only a few weeks old when her first tooth started coming in. It can happen at any time.
