Hi mums, today I came here because I am so much
Feeling worried,it's about my nearly 5y old daughter who was toilet trained when she was nearly 3 but some times after that sometimes bottoms were wet which I thought was common but this habit start increasing and she wet her bottoms most of time.i always ask her she need toilet she said no then after 5 minutes she wet her pyjamas.now with wetting of her bottoms she also start doing poo in pants which is so frustrating for me.az she is a bright and happy girl but with this issue is affecting my relationship with her.i don't want to make this a problem and try to be calm but sometimes it's make me anxious that when she wil learn to go to toilet on time.as I came on this forum I realize I am not alone it gives me strength to cope with it .I had little tough time with my older son's toilet training then when I had a girl I thought she wil be quick to toilet train but she is giving me nuts.after reading many other's mums same issue I am realising may be she is constipated becoz most of the times she has a wet pyjamas with dry poo inside the bum .Still mum give me some advice what I need to do as this phase is draining me.

I would suggest a doctor visit to rule out anything medical(UTI, Facial impaction, constipation). I have this issue as well with my dd who is almost 5 also. She is on laxitives now and has been for a while and that stopped the poo accidents pretty quickly. Unfortunately we're still going through the wee accidents and we're pretty sure that's not a medical thing at this point it seems more behavioral, like she just can't be bothered to go to the toilet, will leave it as long as possible and have an accident and will happily sit in her own wee for as long as she can until someone notices. This happens multiple times a day and she is in bothered by it. I don't have any advice except maybe going back to basics, sticker charts, reward systems ect.
