Weaning off breastfeeding at 22 months old

I'm pretty sure there is plenty information everywhere. And I feel like I've been reading more than I can handle. So after the first week of attempts to wean it off, I'm not entirely sure if I'm doing it wrong...

DS2 has porridge in the mornings with a little bit of milk in cup.

Then after lunch, he has a pot of yogurt. I usually breastfed him to nap. Since last week, I tried to replace the breastfeeding with a bottle with a spout as transition, but he only takes it with the TV on and no more than 100ml after sitting on my lap for 20 minutes. Then screams/cries when I put him down to nap without the usual breast comfort. (I'm sure this part I'm not getting it right...)

I'm still breastfeeding him to bed time sleep after a couple of stories.

I feel the milk before nap is really a pain. It takes so long and started eroding his nap time. But he wouldn't take milk in cup. Shall I skip this altogether?

I also read just today, some experts say milk contains high sugar level so it's really not something they shall have right before bedtime. This confuses me as I thought milk should be part of routine to help sleep. DS1 has been having milk before bedtime since he's a baby. He's 8 and still has it as a routine. Have I been doing it all wrong all these years??

DS2 is not a big drinker. Doesn't like to drink much water. He's been having severe constipation for a couple of months now (rabbit pools). I'm reluctant to take any fluid out of his routine, hence been trying to give milk while phasing out the breastfeeding.

Any comments please? Would appreciate some advice...
