Partially digested food and sicky

Hey,

So our little boy is 7 months old and has now been on solids just before he turned 6 months.

He's getting better with his food but still doesn't have a massive amount (maybe half a jar and a yoghurt for lunch or dinner) but he still seems to be sick quite a bit and has quite a few dirty nappies which have partially digested food in it.

Some days he's not sick at all, and other days he's really sicky and it's that human vomit smell, not the newborn milk sick smell. Some days he only poops once and other days he can go 4/5 times a day.

He is teething and he is really grouchy so hard to tell if it's because of the teeth or there's something else there 🥲

Anyone had anything similar or got any advice?

Tia

Half a jar and a yoghurt is fairly normal for a 7 month old. They only need to go to solids 3 times a day between 8 and 9 months.

If he's being sick in some days and not on others though, I'd think about starting a food dairy as it could be an allergy like CMPA.

@BunnyRuddington

Thanks for the reply! He seems happy on the 3 meals and we don't force it so if he doesn't want it he doesn't eat it :)

He's on a normal milk and no signs of an allergy related rash or anything like that so I don't think it's CMPA but I see why you say that.

Sometimes he still vomits his milk too so maybe he's just got a bit of reflux 🤷🏽‍♀️

Why are babies so hard?!
