Not crawling at 10 months

My baby boy is 10 months old this week and isn't yet crawling. He has just figured out commando crawling but just can't figure out how to move his legs properly to actually crawl. He has no interest in walking, pulling himself up or cruising. I know all babies develop at there own pace but I can't help but worry when I see all the other babies his age doing all of these things. Is there anything I can do to encourage crawling or walking? He spends a lot of his day on his tummy already. At what stage do I start to worry he isn't reaching these milestones yet?

Crawling isn’t considered a milestone now as some babies never crawl. Some commando crawl, some bum shuffle, some skip it entirely so I wouldn’t worry.

My DD is nearly 9 months and has only just learned to roll over - babies do things in their own time.

Can he sit unaided?

Don't worry, they are all different Smile he will explore in different ways to move when he's ready. My daughter only learned to crawl when she was 8 months and was walking at 1 year but alot of groups I went to some were still crawling at 1 year and walked a few months later. I wouldn't say I done anything special to get her moving, I just left her to it. She had a vtech baby walker, one that she pushed, not sat in. She used to push it or pull herself up on it and do a funny unsteady walk with it. She liked all the lights, buttons and music too.
