10 months, lazy or concerning?

Would you be concerned if your 10 month just seemed to be doing nothing active?

She can't sit up yet BUT, if placed in a sitting position can hold it. Just can't get up herself.
Shows no inclinations to crawl or bum shuffle or move at all really.
When placed in a standing position she just bounces up and down, I've never seen her hold a standing position at all.
She doesn't clap or wave.
She doesn't babble but does growl alot 😂
She's never ever rolled over.

What she does do is

Feed herself happily and has done for many months.
She cruises about in her walker.
She bounces away in the jumparoo
She sleeps like a champion
Is a healthy weight
Very content baby
Straight back when in the highchair and pulls forward fine
She cuddles and over the past few days has started reaching out for a pick up.
She's absolutely attached to me but will happily take some time out in a cot / on the floor.

She was a c section baby due to being breech & her subsequent hip checks went fine. Never heard back from the hospital after they checked her at 8 weeks but they did say no news would be good news.

My 3rd baby and 2 previous boys were both lazy but clapping sitting showing signs of wanting to move by this age.

I dont want to bother a peadatrician and go to appointments right now unless I absolutely have too.

I'm not overly bothered as I'm sure she will get there but it does cross my mind enough that I'm posting here!

If it was yours, what would you think?

She sounds terrific! If she’s cruising around in her walker she might go straight to walking and not bother with crawling. As she’s the fourth you might have less time for talking, singing and doing rhymes with her which might be why she’s not babbling but she sounds like she’s thriving and doing great and will get round to her milestones when she’s good and ready!

Thank you so much. She's my 3rd baby sorry not my 4th (I'm all finished now!!)

I'm happy to hear someone say that. It does concern me sometimes but she is a very chilled child has been since birth.

I agree with the statement on time. I've a boisterous toddler and a 10 year old so she absolutely doesnt get 1 to 1 time as much as they ever did.

That's a point ill work on though, I have spent so long trying to keep the others entertained during lockdown.

Thanks for such a nice reply!

@Danni91 she sounds like a dream! My brother was like this to the point where he had to be woken to be fed (from birth, he could sleep 13 hrs straight) and prodded to make sure he is not a doll (by other mums in the playground) but a real baby. Never cried but always made sure my mum knew what he wanted, ate little to not at all when older and we are both still super picky eaters.

He was super chilled and stayed that way (he was my mum's second child after having a hurricane of myself so my mum was also very happy not to have two crazy humans).

Thank you @ZooKeeper19 ! I hope she's always this chilled out. If I could pick a 4th baby and guarantee I could have another her, I'd do it tomorrow! 😂 shes no effort at all.

Anyway, funny how these things always work, she managed to sit up twice this morning by herself holding onto a bar! Typical 😂

I feel so much better though hopefully she will have that perfected by the end of the month. And then ill regret ever bragging about how easy she is when she's strolling around touching everything Wine
