Embarassing behaviour

Just thought I would share my embarrasment with you all. My dd has taken to shouting abuse at innocent by-standers!!! It's true, she'll just decide she doesn't like the look of someone and shout 'Go 'way lady, go 'way man' at the top of her voice. I'm standing there shooshing away and telling her not to be so rude, and she's loving watching me squirm. Has anyone else experienced this?

DS (2.3) very loudly, in the course of one 5 minute walk down our street:-

'Mummy, that man is fat' (it was a woman. And yes, she was fat) 'Fat Man. Is Fat Man. Oh...! Is Fat Lady. Is Fat Lady, Mummy? No? Is Fat Man, or Is Fat Lady?'

'Mummy, that is chocolate. That girl is chocolate. Why she chocolate? Can I eat?' (Black girl. Oh dear god... What to say??? I said 'She isn't chocolate, she has different coloured skin to you. All your friends are different colours aren't they?' Is that as bad as 'Some of your best friends are black, darling?' Shoot. Me. Now.)

and of course, as we left shopping centre toilets and walked into crowds about a week ago, a good old shouted 'Big Poo! My Mummy Did Big Poo!' Thanks for that, DS.
