My Dd is a lovely little girl, always wants to include others in her play, very good at sharing and is quite bright (not above her age range but just doing as well as she should be) but I’m struggling with her emotions & general clinginess.
This morning for example she wanted a hug from older sibling, they gave her a hug and then said they were going to their room, dd was in floods of tears.
Similar when she’s told not to do something.
She wants to be hugged all the time, or wants to be involved in anything I’m doing - even if not age appropriate.
School have noted that she can get a bit tearful if someone doesn’t want to play with her or if the daily routine changes.
I work full time & am a single parent so I know that’s some way to explaining it but I’m not sure what else I can do to support her within the limits of still needing to do other jobs around the home/spend time with other dc.
I think the big emotions are just part of her personality but Any advice appreciated Smile
