Cradle cap

Hi ladies.

My baby has a slightly orange scalp. A few little white flakes to and Slightly orange to the eye brows.
Is there anything I can do to help prevent cradle cap? I don't no much about it as this is my first.

I don't shampoo her head I just use the bath water. Would shampoo help?

We shampoo and brush with a soft brush (before rinsing shampoo off) every day, works a treat! And baby loves the feeling

I just enjoyed picking at it whilst he was b feeding. Eventually it went away. 😳

Use dentinox shampoo and brush in circles with soft brush ☺️ don't pick them they can bleed and get infected

Try putting baby oil or coconut oil on, then brush it off after you’ve had the oil on for a while. We did this in combination with using dentinox shampoo. DD is 9 months and we just have a single big flake left (trying my hardest not to pick at it!)

Our baby is 10 months old and still has cradle cap. As his hair has got longer you can't really see it anymore. I googled it and most of the advice says to leave it be as it doesn't cause the baby any harm.

That's right @Ridethewaves it's not an issue, I think all babies (perhaps there's a few exemptions) get it. That's why I just scraped a little off each time he breastfed. Very satisfying. 😂
