I never really had this problem with DD as she was rarely sick at all,

But my DS is now 7 wks and has been really sicky since birth.

He is now Bottle fed, but was the same when Breast fed.

He takes all of his bottles, and even seems hungry still when they have gone but he is sick after every feed! Sometimes quite forceful and it seems like the whole feed has come back, other times just a little, but today just a lot of clear fluid - not milky.

He is quite a windy baby and i have to wind him lots of times throughout his bottle.

Otherwise a contented little boy.

Anything to worry about do you think? Or just a sicky baby?

If it was just milk I would say nothing to worry about because my ds was the same. However if your dd is bringing up clear liquid then it may be worth talking to the health visitor or doctor. I would ring the surgery and ask.

Your ds might have reflux. My ds was really sick after all his feeds (he's ff as we didn't really get on well with bf). He also brought up clear liquid which I think GP said was stomach acid. He was diagnosed with reflux, which is now much better at 7.5 months. He was prescribed gaviscon and ranitidine which helped a lot straightaway and he became much happier almost overnight, and he's now off them, although I think some people find the gaviscon can cause constipation in their babies.

You should take him to see your GP soon, as if it is reflux he might end up in pain as the acid can cause inflammation - my ds started screaming when I fed him after a few weeks of being sick - my h/v kept telling me he was just a sicky baby, but I just knew something was wrong, which GP confirmed.

DS was also windy / colicky which got better around the 12 week mark

another vote for possible reflux. or dairy intolerance (less likely) have you tried switching formula brands to a 'sensitive' one?

Of course it's worth having him checked out for reflux but some babies are just "happy chuckers" and if he's otherwise happy I wouldn't worry. My DS was one of them. He would throw up torrents of milk, literally soaking himself, me and the sofa. I had numerous public embaressing moments. He grew out of it after he was weaned. I remember my antenatal class friends all complaining of sick etc when their babes did these tiny little possets - they soon shut up when they saw my DS do his volcanoe impression!
