1yo who hates pram/car seat

Hi, after a little advice. My ds who is almost 1 has for a few months now been shouting/crying whilst in his pram and car seat. I realise this could be a development issue and since he can crawl doesn't like to be strapped in but I see so many happy little babies sat in the pram so content so wondered if their are any tips and tricks to get there? Being asked to go on a walk or drive for longer than 5 minutes fills me with dread. I've tried all sorts of different toys which he throws and snacks keep him happy for a short while but as soon as the snack is gone he is back to shouting.

Please help

Get some toys that attach to the pram / car seat that he can't throw? Try engaging with him about what's going on as you walk down the road, what he can see out of the window in the car, put his favourite music on (in the car) and sing together? I'm sure you've probably tried all this! Sorry if it's not any help

We have a 1yo and this has started happening more often in the pram lately.

Distracting is the only thing that seems to work for us - pointing out cars, flowers, dogs etc. The toys don’t last long, as you say, and even the ones that attach to the pram also don’t really hold attention for long. I’ve just got a pram version of her favourite book (ie with a clip for the pram bar), to see if that will occupy her for longer. Haven’t tried it yet though.

The car seat is more complicated for us as we’ve not used it in months and she whines even at the sight of it. So following that part with interest.
