Positive stories of Physiotherapy

First time Mum! Please be kind.

My DD is 19 months and is still not walking independently. She can crawl, scoot, climb up onto sofas etc, as well as pull to stand.

When she pulls to stand her left foot is flat but the right goes straight into tip toe. She then stands on tip toes at her play kitchen or whatever it is.

Obviously we can't take her to Physiotherapy but have spoken to one on the phone. They saw some videos of her and said to do a few things - massage of her feet, wearing boots with support during the day. Trying to get her to play at a low coffee table.

Hoping that will help.

Anyone else been in the same situation? Experience of going to Physiotherapy for late Walker.

She doesn't have any hip problems - all good at all her development checks.

Ive not had similar problems, but i would really try to discourage walking on tippy toes like a ballerina, because it shortens their achilles and causes later issues x I have also found that NHS physio is fab, it really helped my dd with knee pain xx
