Any late walkers experience?

My DD is still not walking.

She is a bum shuffler! Has been for a long time! She can also crawl. She pulls to stand and can climb onto and over sofas!

But is not walking yet.

Has walked with a walker but all on tip toes.

Have tried getting her to stand and walk but won't.

She's a big toddler. 98% percentile for height and weight.

Charters and talks a lot - knows quite a few words.

So worried about her.

I honestly I don’t know why.. she was just telling as always i can do this , i can do that , like referring things.. in 7 months she done only one referral ( hearing test ) still waiting for appointment... anyway I asked GP for new Psykotherapy as we moved new council new HV .. things the are a bit to slow, I’m worried a lot

Our physiotherapist (nhs community children) told me they didn't consider it to be late until 24 months.

Google hypermobility. My son has it and was slow to walk. My husband and his mum also had hypermobility, didn't walk until.18.months and were bum shufflers- very common with hypermobile babies.. my son's physiotherapist told me they start to get concerned if not walking by 18 months but only very concerned by 2 years. I'd be pushing for a referral to a physio to see if there's anything going on. Luckily I knew my son was hypermobile already so I didn't worry too.much but I can understand why you might.
