One year old isn't interested in anyone!

Hi, first time poster to mumsnet and wondering if anyone could offer any advice.

My little girl turned 1 on March 28th, she's almost walking and is lively and active but doesn't seem interested in people!

She won't respond to her name or react to loud noises (but not deaf because she reacts to Hey Duggee after a split second!) yet she understands 'no' and 'come here'.
She is very nearly walking by herself and spends all her time cruising and all she wants to do is explore.

If someone walks into the room it's like they're invisible to her, even with talking to her with no other distractions she will babble but still not engage properly. She will climb on people and hug them, but not respond to them or look at them!

I'm getting more concerned as everything I read just screams autism, and while the lockdown is in place I can't arrange a visit to the clinic.
She's previously had a social development test when she was around 10 months at the clinic and scored 'in the black' (the grading system was white for good, grey for okay and black for not good) but since getting the results lockdown has happened so don't know anything more on this, and the test was for 12-18months age if I remember correctly.

Has anyone had any experience of this? She seems very happy and developing well apart from just not being interested in anyone and preferring to do her own thing! All research I've done just repeatedly says autism, but was hoping someone might have had a similar experience with their LO.

Thank you

Are you in the U.K. lammy? If so, have you spoken to your HV?

If it was the HV who did the test, could you ask her to repeat it now she is 12 months?

I am in the UK, another test was scheduled but since lockdown began they've not been able to do any visits and don't know when we can rearrange until it's lifted! So limited options right now I'm afraid

I would try not to worry. At this age she's too young to diagnose I think. Try to enjoy her for what she is, she sounds absolutely lovely.

When she's 16 months, you could do the m-chat and see what her risk is. But for now, I'd try to forget about it for a while Thanks]
