Last saturday my baby boy turned 6 week and got his second vaccine (first being bcg) ,
We opted for the painless one. honestly didn't even knew there's such a thing as painless vs painful although a later search on internet revealed painful maybe better for long, term.
Anyways, the thing is my baby boy has been fussy since . Not fussy all the time, but like when he gets up from sleep .
He does smile as well at our faces or sometimes at ceiling .
But when he's fussy , he will let out a real high pitched cry and won't even latch . Othertimes, he latches.

We had given paracetamol drops as prescribed by physician . And the injection site doesn't seem swollen or red.

Is it normal for babies to be fussy even after 4-5 days of vaccination

In the uk you dont get a vaccine at 6 weeks. What injection was it?

sarahhoping · 26/03/2020 08:32

@dementedpixie, it was standard 6 week vaccination of rotavirus (oral drops) , hep-b1 , and polio i think

Do you get the exact same injections? There are a few threads about babies being unsettled afterwards. If you did a search then using 8 week injections in your search would give more results
