Ooh, no I don't think so, it looks quite full on plastic-y here doesn't it?

It looks fun to me, but not really wnaky I don't think

look cod you can work for them, be right up your street I reckon

policywonk · 08/09/2007 17:43

OK, I can't stand it any more

WHAT IS WNAKY

policywonk · 08/09/2007 18:07

If you don't tell me, I will put mango chutney in it

3andnomore · 08/09/2007 18:15

I think Franny may have meant wanky...but was coddisized, lol...

3andnomore · 08/09/2007 18:19

oh and cod was just up to her usual standards in the title, of course ;)

I might, of course, just got the wrong end of the stick!

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:29

I do classes with treasure baskets for babies

cod thinks they are wanky

she said so

but surprise surprise she typed "wnaky"

now treasure baskets are wnaky baskets

comprende?

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:30

oh and treasure baskets are these

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:32

and when i use the word 'wnaky' I am usually meaning it as MN speak for 'heuristic', which means 'learning through one's own discovery', which is the style of learning that treasure baskets encourage

I think that is all

policywonk · 08/09/2007 18:32

Aah, 3andnomore was right. The mis-spelling was consistent across a few threads so I figured it must be an abbreviation for something. God, I really do spend too much time on here.

policywonk · 08/09/2007 18:33

So it DOES have a specific meaning. I was RIGHT

FrannyandZooey · 08/09/2007 18:36

LOL at everything, especially the mango chutney threat

what were you going to put it in, the basket? that would be very heuristic and exciting for the babies

It is learning through emptying the recycling box / compost bin.

Mine do it all the time.

MrsFogi · 10/09/2007 14:34

I suppose wnaking is the ultimate in heuristic play for young and teenage boys (in fact for any boys after a certain age)!
