And I think dts have cottened onto it, they scream all the time, when they dont get there way, even something as simple as someone being in the way of the telly is greeted with a high pitch scream, and it just makes my blood boil, how do I stop them? they are 3.6.

I find screaming really grating too. I think the official advice is to ignore it, but easier said than done. You have my sympathy!

Have tried to ignore a million times, am sure they know it would be a much nicer house if they did'nt scream, when only one is screaming, I will fuss over the one that is'nt.

also have my sympathy. ds (18m) has just started this and i find it extremely annoying(embarrassing if in public.) Am going with the tactic of leaving the room when he does it so as not to react and also because he's still young enough that he wants my attention so removing it will hopefully stop the behaviour

My ds (4) still does this but not nearly as much as he used to. dd (18 months) now copies him - oh the joys. I don't think there's anything obvious you can do apart from what you're doing already. Ignore, ignore and ignore some more. Never give them what they want if they scream for it. I say to my ds "If you want your sister to move how would you ask her?" etc etc, ad nauseum. I have to hope some if it goes in eventually. Sometimes putting my hands over my ears and pulling a painful face stop him. Comments from grandparents definitely DO NOT help - they plead with him to stop as it's hurting their ears, and he just loves that attention!
