Pasta jars - tip of the day

Wahey! Soupdragon's pasta jars are a well-deserved tip of the day. I can't remember when we started using them - feels like eons ago - but we STILL have pasta jars in our house, and they still work.

I could search for the relevant thread, but if I do I'll be late for school.

I love it when I can hiss the word pasta at the kids in public, and get an instantaneous result! Or they leap out of a successful swimming lessons shouting not, "How much pocket money bonus do I get for that?" but "Can I have two extra pieces of pasta for that?"!!!

Ahh! but if I did it for myself the jar would be FULL.....
I need someone to tell me off for being 'bad' and take my pasta away....
Not that I am VERY bad, just sometimes a bit 'naughty!
Perhaps I could adopt a mum from MN...anyone want the job?

I have Janh as my PA....Oh and she keeps me on the straight and narrow.....you don't want to 'cross' Janh cos she's lovely....but I don't have enough self discipline to keep a 'pasta jar' for myself.

I couldn't be your mum Bunglie but I'll be your sister and then we can look for a mum together!! I'd choose JanH (she is very wise and lovely) but too bit young to be my mum I think!!

This sounds like a great idea, think i'll try it with my Dd's.

Have been trying to find some way of getting better behaviour, hopefully this could be it.
