Controlled Crying - When can I start, is my DD too young?

I did Controlled Crying with my eldest DD at three months and although it was hard it worked a treat and she is a brilliant sleeper. DD number two is 3 weeks old, is this too young? If so, how long should I wait?

Thanks.

Callisto, the paper is based on an incomplete reference list.

What the AAIMH has failed to mention - either deliberately or through ignorance -
is that there are actually quite a few studies that look into the effects of CC.

And not a single one of them finds anything that would support the AAIMH's stance.

The funny thing is, if the AAIMH members had shown sufficient duty of care
they could have found all these studies online.
Not only that but they could have found them on 1 single page.

It turns out a mother of an 8 month old baby has asked this question of a researcher
who has gone and found everything there is to find about CC.

His conclusion: CC is safe and it has been shown to be safe.

This page is currently online and when I am back from hols I am happy to post a link.
