I am having issues with my 6 Yr old son not listening to simple instructions and instead he answers back with terrible attitude or has mini tantrums. I feel it is his way or no way and not sure what more I can do. He is extremely bright however this is now starting in school too. I don't have much support from the school although his teacher is lovely. I have tried reward charts, removing the treats he receives and trying to explain to him how I would like him to behave but yet I feel he doesn't really listen to me anyway. I have struggled with anxiety and depression since the beginning of my pregnancy and was worried that may have had an impact on him. He also is in a friendship group of 3 and is always the one who is left out. I am struggling to think of other things I can do to get around this behaviour and welcome any ideas...
