Is this normal body discovery?

TRIGGER WARNING - child abuse.

Background: My 2.5 year old little boy is at the 3-4 word sentences stage (slower than peers as we live in a bilingual environment) -- so communicative but not really at the stage that I can ask him detailed questions. I am separated from his father so he is regularly in the care of myself, or his childminder, or his father. He was breastfed until just past 2 years old, and occasionally when playing he will ask me to breastfeed his cuddly toys or he will hold one to his chest as if breastfeeding.

Last week, during some nappy free time, he put his toy dinosaur's mouth to his penis and said it was breastfeeding. I laughed and said that's not where breastmilk comes from, it comes from up here (chest level). He said no, dinosaur is drinking.

Due to some events in my past related to child abuse, I am finding this extremely triggering. Please give me some objective opinions on what you would do? Thanks...[

I can definitely see how that would be concerning but one thing to remember is that toddlers, especially boys are fascinated by their "bodies" at this age.If he brings it up again I would definitely talk to him but but with no leading questions.
