Wonder Week Leap 6

Hi

Anybody been through Leap 6 of the Wonder Weeks and still been sane?!!

Going through it now and seems to be the worst one yet!

Bedtime an hour or two later than it was! Waking up two times a night now....last night didn't get DD down until 10.30pm! Woke at 3 then 5am! Sleep seems to be all over the place...teething isn't helping either!

Wants to eat some food but it's all about the boob again!

Looking for light at the end of this...

Anyone else find it's a tough one?

Every time we’ve entered a leap I’ve said this is definitely the worst one, said the same about leap six, first week to ten days nearly killed me but thankfully my little girl is back to sleeping really well (fingers crossed) BUT she is soooo whingy all day at the minute, I think it’s frustration. She desperately is trying to crawl but can’t. Hang in there it doesn’t get better. Can you co sleep for a couple of weeks to try and get more sleep?

A better nights sleep last night!!! First after about a week.

App says 12 days left so maybe we are past the worst of the Leap 6.

I seriously think leap 6 is about to turn me into an alcoholic. We have sailed through all previous leaps but this one is just horrendous.

Refusing to nap, waking up every couple of hours after being such a good sleeper and don't get me started on the whinging, it's unbearable. Mix that in with 2 teeth cutting through and that's what nightmares are made of. I hope it gets better because I'm about to crack.

I had to give up with wonder weeks, predicting when life would turn bad. I felt much happier going with the flow and going with each day as it comes it's just general development which every child does at their own pace and in their own way.

I’m with @April45 - it’s a tough way to live, predicting when things will get shit and having a bad day and being confused because it’s meant to be a good day.

Sleep gets disrupted by teething and by them learning new things which is exactly what should be happening at that age. And things will get better.
