9 months and doesn't want to crawl!

My little one is nearly 9 months, hates tummy time and is making no signs/effort to crawl. There's absolutely nothing wrong with his movement he's rolling and wants to be stood up all the time - so I'm not worried about that. I'm just after some tips to get him to stay on his tummy longer to encourage him to learn? I know some babies skip crawling altogether but has anybody else had this? When I do get him on his tummy for longer than five minutes he just kicks his legs about but I just don't think he's interested, is this a thing? Should I be worried?

Thanks!

Some kids walk before crawling or bum shuffle instead.

Not anything to worry about :)

What on earth is 'tummy time'? Never heard of it.

Lots of babies don't crawl they just get up and walk one day. Nothing to worry about.

Tummy time is when you put a baby on their front "for fun". They practice lifting their head and using different muscles to when they are on their back (recommendations have babies lie on their backs )

Tummy time is very important. Yes although some children do skip crawling, crawling is very important for a babies development. I would suggest lots of tummy time, place her on tummy and place different objects like keys informs of her or to the side of her so she tries to reach them. Very important she strengthens her truck, arms and neck.
