I don't know where to start this, but I need advice!
My 5 year old daughter is relentless with her talking, and I feel like I am going insane! She talks from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to sleep, and if I ask her to be quiet (while eating dinner for example) she seems to find this impossible. She also answers back, constantly, and hardly ever does as she's told. I've tried walking away, punishment (no tv, naughty step, bedroom for 5 minutes, no tablet etc.) and nothing works.
When she goes to bed for example I say it's quiet time now, and she talks for another ten minutes! If I don't listen she screams and cries and I end up losing my temper, and shouting. It's a viscous cycle and I'm well aware of that (I'm not very tolerant in general) but I don't know where to begin to get things good! It's getting to the point where I would rather be at work sometimes, and I don't want to feel like that. Someone please give me some advice!!
