hi

suddenly at seven and a half months, ds will not go in his pushchair, i think it might be separation anxiety-its a maclaren and front facing. he cries hysterically and wont go to sleep anymore in it. it is also difficult to put him down at home-he cries hysterically-although he is fine with other people-being looked after for an hour or so. on my knee now hence one hand typing. it seems the anxiety is about being away from people-not necessarily me. a woman fussedover him in a shop the other day and when she went away he started crying and wouldnt stop. i do a lot of sling carrying and he's fine, but i have no car so i need to use the buggy sometimes...i also like to go for walks and my back is not strong enough to walk miles wiyh the sling.

anyone had similar...did it pass??? any practical advice about making the pushchair less lonely? (i dont agree with cc)

thanks

I does pass. DD used to hate gong in her and used to wiggle out of the straps so I had to attach a set of reins to it, it looked extreme but did the job! The only thing you can do is persevere, if you don't use the buggy for a while he will be just as upset as he is now. Good luck.

Could you take the hood off so it's easier for him to see you?

it does pass, DS2 has been really clingy too from 6 months. Just getting better at 9 1/2 months....
