What age did your baby start crawling and what age did they start walking ?

Just curious really DD been crawling a few weeks ,interested to hear from others what the gap was between crawling and walking

Little girl across road from me literally crawled about 3 weeks before walking with a walker. It was a month between learning to crawl and free walking !

DS had a friend (another girl) who crawled quite late, but then there was very short gap between crawling and full walking !

DS was cruising at 8 months, commando crawling at 10, “proper” crawling at 13 months and walking independently at 15 months. The little weirdo obviously hadn’t read the milestones book.

My little one was commando crawling at 8 months, actually crawling at 9 months, pulling herself up at 10 months. She's been practicing her standing since 13/14 months and started walking a few weeks ago at 15 months. I've just bought her first shoes on Friday 😍 I knew she would take a bit longer as she didn't bear weight in her legs much when little, she would just bend her legs up when I tried, so I thought she wouldn't be walking on or around her 1st birthday.

Crawling at 9.5 months, walking at 16.5 months.

Crawling at 14 months, walking at 16 months.

DC1 Never crawled, walked at 16 months
DC2 Crawled at 7 months, walked at 16 months

Crawling at 10-11 months and walking unaided around 15-16 months

Crawling at 6 months, walking at 15 months

DS commando crawled at 10 months, proper crawling 11 months, cruised about 14+ months and walked fully just shy of 19 months. First independent steps at 17 months.

My son will be 11 months this week and STILL is not crawling!! He loves to stand constantly against furniture and is starting to cruise slightly. I dont think he will bother crawling at all.

Will be interested to see if he will be walking by his first birthday.

Crawled 7 months... Began walking at 12 months. Was always very sturdy and well balanced so when he began walking he didn't stop and hardly ever fell. I always allowed him to climb, and crawl everywhere though. And didn't use a walker so I didn't ruin his balance.
