Hi, you can guess my problem, why would I be typing away at 1.20 in the morning...My son who is 28 months old is waking up every night (and has done so for the past 2-3 months) screaming. I think it is a combination of night terrors, maybe nightmares and habit too. I do not know what to do, the controlled crying technique does not seem to be relevant as he cries even louder when we go into his room. It is very confusing and very exhausting, with very busy job...

So glad I am not alone! My DS goes through phases of this, everythime I think i ahve it cracked, he appears by my bed at 3am! Found this clock helpful, especialy now it is so light at 5am, helps him to know it is nightime still. We tell him to stay in bed till the rabbit wakes up and set it for 6am. Still coimes in sometimes, but does seem to work!

Hi @Clemency, I came across your post and we are currently going through the same with our little boy.

Wanted to ask did anything work for you ? Is your little one sleeping through the night ?

My little boy just turned 2 in June. Transitioned from cot to cot bed which was fantastic just before he turned 2. No melt downs, went to sleep like a dream. For the past 2 weeks my boy has been waking up between 2-3am crying and will not stop crying or back to his bed. We end up cosleeping around 5am . He won't settle in his bed . When he comes to our bed he would just roll around and fidget until his comfortable which is usually 5am.
