Please can anyone suggest things that I can do to entertain my 4 month old? We seem to be doing the same old activities all the time. Any toys that can be recommended are good also. Thanks!

What sort of things have you tried so far OP? My DD loved going for a walk in the sling. She also loved the parent and baby sessions at the swimming pool. Candokiddo have a few ideas here too Smile

Ikea, the park, anywhere really in the pram/sling. Foil emergency blankets are great for them to lay on. Baby massage is good for calming and colic etc. Textures and smells and sounds. Nothing fancy :)

@JiltedJohnsJulie so far we go for walks, playgroups, mums groups. But mainly at home I'll do tummy time with her, read to her, she'll go on the play gym, sing to her, play with her Lamaze toy etc. Thanks for the link, I'll take a look.

@ElyElyOy thanks, she does enjoy her walks but it's not always easy to get out sometimes. But I need to make the most of it while it's not too hot or cold.

Our 6 months old baby likes walking. We usually go out and have a morning walk.

I also found puppets (using actual hand puppets, but also teddies and socks) and songs and dances to amuse my son (including my attempts to do the 30 day shred or whatever it’s called!). They are ideal for when you cant get out.

I would say though it sounds like you already do plenty: babies don’t need that much simulation, just watching you potter about is enough :)
