My DS2 aged 10 weeks seems to enjoy having a muslin to hang onto. As far as I'm concerned this is A Good Thing if it helps him sleep. But will he suffocate on it in the night??

dd1 was about 13 months when she started a love affair with a square cushin with patchwork cover

dd2 has her thumb(from about 5 months) and a different assortment of animals has to share her bed every night

Gecko is working on the thumb thing

dd1 has a rabbit with a musical thing inside it that she takes to bed dd2 has a little velour thing with a head on and a velour rabbit with blue and white stripped dungarees on

I gave my LO a blankie to stop him nuzzling his dummy out at nap time (and therefore waking himself up).

He usually covers his head in it (but I sleep with my head partially covered so I think I know where such behavior stems from

I don't think there's a problem with it, as long as he grows out of it, eventually
