Hi (hope this is in the right place)

So my child is almost 5 and I was wondering about her. She is am only child. Its not new behaviour although her moods are getting more stroppy.

Basically she has this habit a lot of repeating phrases that we say, but in whisper. She seems unable to behave the way she is asked and often breaks things (like my ear plugs today) she will go and do it and then say I want to show you something , almost like she goes breaks things and then feels guilty somehow ?

We got a kitten as she wanted one and she is really scared of it. She is scared of a lot and doesn't go to the toilet alone and always has to have one of us in her bedroom for her to go to sleep.

I know some of this is normal, but could there be more to it? I home educate her. She is very smart. Has very little attention span though for the work I want her to do. Is she just playing up I don't know.

She always dives on people and always has done and she cant seem to stop. She also says she doesn't know why she cant listen. She has also been really good at ignoring us it drives me mad when I talk to her and she ignores doesn't look my way.

She also doesn't like eye to eye when im trying to tell her something.

She appears like any 5 year old would I feel but she is very good with other kids her own age and of any age. She is not shy.

Forgot to add re the kitten she broke 2 of its things, the scratch post the day after we got it by sitting and leaning on it despite telling her not to and a cat toy on the same day we got it just pulled the feather off, She also keeps trying to attach a toy hat to its head despite us telling her no that will upset cat. She will clap him if we hold him but wont be in room alone with him and doesn't want feet on floor and wants to sit on us on sofa incase he gets her

if people come visit she often hides in her room and under her duvet. It happened with the in laws coming, she doesn't like them as they don't play with her or talk to her much and the health visitor too she wouldn't come out her room for and any strange folk. I accept that could be normal especially the stranger thing like work men.

I also cant keep a bed made up in the house she must dive under them and make a mess and she will not pick any of her toys up at all we must do most of it and her tantrums are really dramatic , she is very fussy with food too
