My little one had his 9-12 month check on Tuesday and the health visitor said that he's scored well on the questionnaire thing that she done. He just turned 9 month old on the 19th but he's not pulling him self up on the furniture and stuff or crawling yet. She said that she will come back out in a couple of month but should I be worried? He seems quite content just sitting in on the floor with toys in front of him and rolling over when a put him down to change his bum

I wouldn’t worry too much then. My DS was pretty similar, he coukd stand at the sofa but he hated tummy time so didn’t get the hang of crawling or pulling himself up for ages.

He can bare his own weight if I'm holding his hands and has only just started trying to get onto his hands and knees and he knows that he wants to put one foot in front of the other but he's not crawling or pulling him self up on to furniture yet and there's other kids younger than him who are doing that

My son didn’t do that until about 11 months corrected, his friend didn’t do it at all and then started walking confidently at 14 months.

My DD never crawled, she bum shuffled, she walked at 9mo but she still couldn’t sit up from a lying position or stand up from a sitting one. Every time she fell over I had to help her get up as she was really motivated to walk and would scream until she could get going again. She was very atypical but there were no underlying issues.
